To convey a feeling a dynamism to the freshmen, as well as strengthening their problem solving skills, the annual artifact intelligence contest was held in October. 70 participant spent their time deciding on the strategy and were joined by a junior coder, responsible for implementation of their ideas. During this time the freshmen got to know senior students and members of the ACM, and also got a better grasp of what the Tehran ACM student chapter's mission is.

A notable difference of this years AI contest was that Unlike the previous years the contest platform was developed by a team of 7 sophomore who had individually asked the chapter for opportunities to help and also to develop their programming skills. The team was assembled in early September 2 month before the contest.
